Beauty Bargain: Clinique Chubby Sticks

(Okay, well, let’s just get this out of the way…the name might offend some, spur others to make a few  jokes, and probably for most it will probably just make them crack a smile).

That aside, it’s essentially a fun, large looking crayon that needs no sharpening unlike the old Chubby Sticks… Just twist!  They come in eight, luscious colors, some of which scream spring.  It was hard to choose, but Chunky Cherry won me over (Mark my words: I’ll be back for more!).

Chunky Cherry is a cheery, red shade (color shown at top of photo)  that goes on sheer but not quite as sheer as lipgloss.   It’s a perfect way to wear red without taking the full-boogie plunge into wearing full-pigmented,  red lipstick.  If you prefer more intense color, layer on!

It’s lovely for slipping into your pocketbook, super-moisturizing , unfussy, and fresh.

Clinique’s Chubby Stick in Chunky Cherry is fun and makes me feel like a kid.  Not only is it cute, but it works fabulous, and perfect for Valentine’s Day!
