Wow. Color me happy, indeed.
Well, Allure magazine put this Prozac-in-a-blush to the test. Cosmetic chemist Ron Robinson explained that in order for the Euphoryl to take effect, the product would have to contain at least 1% for the mood-boosting compound to work. And Physicians Formula won’t reveal how much Euphoryl is in the blush. However, the scientists solemnly agreed the color and pattern of the blush is certainly cheerful. (Which it totally is. I’d buy it just to gaze at it whenever I felt blue.)
And while it smells divine, your olfactory senses adapt to smell on your face quickly. So while you may feel a brief rush of yummy goodness, it doesn’t have a long-lasting effect.
Bottom line: The blush is pretty, and smells good (if short-lived), but don’t flush your anti-depressants down the toilet.
Darn.
But for $11.95, it is a pretty darn cute blush.
