I’ve never used an eyeliner pencil. Ever. Is that unbelievable? Believe it.

So I picked up the Topshop Kohl Eyeliner Pencil, eyeing it dubiously. I was pretty sure that I was going to be the first beauty blogger to die via pencil impalement. (Okay, I wasn’t really concerned about that. Ish.)

But I was doubtful the liner would even work and my eyes would look like they were lined with…well, a purple pencil.

But I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the Kohl pencil worked just as well as regular eyeliner and was not colored pencil-esque as I feared. It was very easy to make an even line, and it slid on smoothly.
