Always on the hunt for new mascara, I recently started using Rimmel London Lash Accelerator. The product claims that your lashes will “Instantly look 80% longer” and that after 30 days they will look 117% longer.

I gotta say, I’m diggin’ this product. I have trouble with mascara sometimes, because although I wouldn’t say I have skimpy lashes, my eyelids are so deep set that if I don’t wear good mascara my lashes are practically invisible. It’s like having really nice fingernails, but being cursed with ginormous man-hands. Or something like that. Actually, it’s nothing like that. Forget it.

Anyway, bad metaphors aside, this is a great lengthening mascara.

Also, the past few days I’ve sort of noticed my lashes looking longer. Mind you, I wasn’t looking for this – can you believe I completely forgot that after 30 days they would look longer? You’d think I’d be checking my lashes every day with a tiny measuring device. But recently I noticed that my lashes looked longer than normal. And that lately when I use the mascara, it almost looks like I’m wearing false lashes.

So not only is this mascara affordable and good quality – it actually does what it claims to do!

It also lasts through my long workdays without flaking or smearing, but at the same time it washes off easily with soap and water. The wand is long and easy to maneuver. You can do several coats before it dries, so your lashes pop even more.

Definitely affordable plus it’s a quality product. You can’t lose!
