What I’m Loving Now: One Natural Solid Shampoo

I have been a huge One Bath and Body fan since I tried out their delicious lip balm a couple of years ago and have since tried a handful of their natural products. One product that I was nervous to try, however, was the Solid Shampoo.

In the mood to try something new, I finally got myself to buy a Solid Shampoo. I selected the Squeaky Clean variety since oily roots have always been a problem of mine. Still skeptical, I didn’t use the shampoo until just today, and man oh man did I miss out this past week that I just let the package sit in my bathroom unopened.

Not really knowing what to expect, since I’ve only ever used liquid shampoo, I was completely blown away by this product. Just like with regular shampoo, you wet your hair, and then you rub the biscuit over your hair until it starts to lather up.

Thinking that it would take forever to actually product suds, I was shocked that within a few seconds I had a head full of bubbles. The lather was rich and the smell was refreshing and fruity, which is perfect for summer. The suds rinsed out easily and left no residue whatsoever. I finished off with a bit of regular conditioner, but I will definitely be trying out the solid conditioner the next time I see it at the store. My hair was left soft, manageable and really shiny.

I am definitely glad I put aside my hesitance and gave this product a try. I might even stop using regular shampoo all together now since I know how great this solid shampoo works. A great bonus is that the solid shampoo is said to last even longer than a bottle of shampoo lasts, plus since it is a solid, it is great for travel on airplanes and can simply be tossed into your gym bag or purse for on-the-go shampooing.
