Royal Wedding Makeup Tips
When I first heard that Kate Middleton applied her own makeup this past holiday I was smitten instantly with the soon to be Duchess of Cambridge.
She took makeup lessons for the big day and again floored me with the impeccable application. She looked amazing on her special day. The beauty products she used aren’t out yet, right now it’s all speculation.
I studied her wedding pictures and can only come up with my own conclusions. My educated guess is that she applied a Twenty-Minute face. This just shows that with the proper makeup lessons and the right tools anyone one of us can expertly apply our own makeup, for any occasion.
1.) Hydrate with an SPF Moisturizer – There are many great choices!
2.) Use a mineral based illuminating foundation – @beingtrue Skin is left soft and glowing.
3.) Under eye concealer – Jet Lag by Cargo Cosmetics Helps remove unwanted dark circles and under-eye baggage.
4.) Blush those cheeks – Aura Cosmetics in Petal soft and natural, you’re glowing from within.
5.) Eyeliner – Dior makes a really good one! – underline both top and lower lash’s for a modern smokey eye.
6.) Water Proof Mascara – YSL Faux Cils – so that the tears of joy don’t ruin the day!
7.) Lipstick – Can’t go wrong with anything from the Dior Lip Collection.
Don’t forget to use a finishing powder and to bring along blotting tissues!
I can’t wait to find out which makeup and skincare products she actually used – that pink/peach lipstick looked awfully pretty!
