Just in time for Earth Day, which is on April 22nd, The Body Shop has introduced a new line of 100% biodegradable shower gels, which have been coined the Earth Lovers line.  Since Earth Day is just around the corner, there is no better time than now to start living a more environmentally-conscious life.  And good news! Your first step is as simple as taking a shower!

Each of these environmental-friendly shower gels contain no sulfates, parabens or colorants and come in 100% recycled bottles.  The shower gels are another step that The Body Shop is taking to help meet their eco-conscious standard, which is to respect the aquatic environment and minimize the use of non-sustainable packaging. The Body Shop is also working to live up to their eco-conscious standard by reducing the energy they use in their stores and warehouses, training their staff on energy-awareness, reducing air travel, using recycled material for plastic bottles and packaging, increasing the recycled content in their gift wrapping, and also replacing carrier bags with 100% recycled and recyclable paper bags.
