Flower Garden’s in Bottles – New Fleur de Gardenia by Creed

Fresh Flowers in the throws of their first bloom is what Fleur de Gardenia reminds us of. A garden in a bottle formulated with First-Love Gardenias that only grow in pairs, Double Blush Roses and Lavender Peonies are only a few of the quality ingredients used to create a dream-like quality of how love is supposed to be.

Key Ingredients:

• Top notes: Pink berries, fresh, ripe blackcurrant, engaging galbanum.
• Middle notes: First Love Gardenias, double blush roses, lavender peonies, Lily of the Valley, pink jasmine.
• Base notes: Soft musk, Pink Patchouli, Virginia cedar.

Personally the soft musk and pink patchouli  threw me off, as those are ingredients that don’t usually work with my chemistry, but combined with a fresh-cut type bouquet I was able to incorporate this luxurious scent into my fragrance wardrobe.

When choosing a fragrance it is best to investigate the ingredients first, this simplifies the fragrance process of eliminating scents you already know won’t work with your chemistry, my rule of thumb is as long as the majority of the ingredients are right then I should give the scent a chance.
