Beauty Challenge: CVS Pharmacy
I took my Beauty Challenge to CVS because I really wanted to make my $35 stretch especially after the holidays.
Here’s what I snagged:
1. Ed Hardy Love and Luck by Christian Audigier– This little purse-sized gem has a woodsy but slightly sweet scent that is intoxicating. I found it to be perfect switch from my usual citrus or floral scent I reserve for warmer weather. The only caveat: I had to reapply often.
$15
2. Goody Spin Pins– These were worth my trip to CVS alone, although initially I was a bit skeptical that they’d work. I love them…Did I say love? Silly me, I meant LOVE!!! Scoop your hair up in a ponytail, twist it and screw in two of those ‘lil guys and I promise they’ll hold your hair in place all day long.
$6
3. Revlon Cream Blush in Berry Flirtatious– Sheer, long-lasting, natural, and affordable in a hue that I swear would flatter almost any skin tone. Plus, I like how you can layer for intensity.
$10
4. Revlon Fire and Ice Limited Edition Nail Polish in Siren– This is what really brought me to CVS in the first place. I hoped this lovely bright orange shade of nail lacquer would ignite my senses (Winter can be so blah…especially after the holidays). It has a ‘Wow’ factor that is both fun and sexy. I used it with Essie Top Coat for added protection.
$4
Total: $35 (Eek, just made it! This was by far the best Beauty Challenge loot though!)
