Beauty Challenge: Sephora

Thanks to a generous Christmas gift card, I was able to shop to my heart’s desire at Sephora. Here’s what you can buy at Sephora.com for around $50:

When Dawn wrote an article on this, I was intrigued enough to add it to my list of “must-try’s.” Now it is on my “must-haves”– a list growing longer by the minute!

Sephora Collection Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss in Sweet Berry $5

I tried a sample of this a while ago and decided to buy the full sized – for only $5, it was a great buy. This particular gloss is normally $10. (Tip: buying online is a great way to spot deals you normally wouldn’t get in stores.)

Stila Smudge Pots in Black $20

Several people have recommended I try this gel eyeliner. So far I am impressed by its staying power. It goes on easily with an eyeliner brush and you can make it as heavy or light as you want. So I thank you, savvy readers!

Smashbox Iconic Eyes Eye Palette ($46 value) $12

This was my grand finale – BOO-ya! I’ve already used all four shades. I didn’t think I would use the blue – I usually wear bronzes and purples – but when paired with my silver eyeliner on top and the Stila eyeliner on bottom, it looked fabulous and really made my eyes pop. Smashbox is one of my preferred luxe eye shadows so this was definitely my favorite find of the bunch.
