Erica Chung’s World – 3LAB

I was thrilled when the opportunity presented itself to speak with Erica directly, and of course I had to ask her about Red Lipstick.

Anita: What was missing in the beauty industry that caused you to develop 3LAB?

Erica: Working with chemists and dermatologists to develop skin care products for many years, I have become aware of the most effective ingredients available and I wanted to create a line that incorporates all of these top ingredients. Each 3LAB formula is carefully blended with state-of-the-art ingredients and technology that work to deliver healthy, beautiful skin.

Anita: I agree, as a consumer I’ve found many skincare products that failed to deliver healthy beautiful skin. I realize now that good skincare pretty much works overnight.

Erica: Yes, if you can see improvement in your skin immediately the skincare you’re using is working.

Anita: I heard that all 3LAB skincare products help brighten the skin, is that true?

Erica: Yes, it’s true, our complexion changes with age. It becomes dull and loses its luster. All 3LAB products are designed to restore the skin’s natural glow, brighten the skin and even out tone and texture. At the same time, the comprehensive line addresses fine lines and wrinkles and restores elasticity as well. Anita: A question I am dying to know, which celebrities use 3LAB, that is if you can kiss and tell.

Erica: I can tell you that Jennifer Lopez use’s the WW Brightening Cream – she’s been quoted saying that in editorials.

Anita: Jennifer Lopez has amazing skin, she’s gorgeous! I can say with honesty that I want whatever she’s using. (we laugh) Okay – if a person was on a budget what 3LAB products would you recommend?

Erica : The Super H Serum because it penetrates deeply into the skin – the M Cream because it rejuvenates the skin and if I can add one more to the list I highly recommend the Super Eye Serum, it’s for people with serious eye wrinkles and crows feet. The beauty of 3LAB is that it can be mixed with other brands – the results are healthy skin.

Anita: If you are on a time crunch, what is your morning beauty routine like?

Erica: It’s all about the skin, beautiful skin is noticeable. If you have more time that’s when you add the color.

Anita: Yes, the canvas is the important part – eye cream, serum, moisturizer and foundation.

Erica: Don’t forget the sunscreen.

Anita: Yes, all of the above or at least one of the above contains sunscreen. What is your favorite shade of Red Lipstick?

Erica: I don’t wear Red Lipstick, I prefer Blue Tone Pink lipstick, either by Christian Dior or Clea de Peau.

Anita: Will 3LAB ever come out with Makeup?

Erica: Yes, we will be launching a tinted moisturizer with an SPF40 this year. The powder products will follow afterwards.

Anita: I’m excited! I can only imagine how healthy wearing makeup is going to be. I’m going to ask this question again because there are some people who can’t afford the 3LAB price points, and they need help too. What affordable skincare products do you recommend?

Erica: This is a tough question because I believe so strongly in the value 3LAB offers because it is so effective. But, I will say that it is very important to use a good cleanser and be sure to moisturize and use a sunscreen. And, as I mentioned previously, a skin brightener is essential to maintaining radiant skin so the 3LAB Glow Serum is a great addition to any regimen.

Anita: I heard that people who used the Glow Serum switch to the Super H Serum almost immediately. My sister is one of those people that started with your Glow Serum and now she swears by the Super H Serum. I’m going to say that the Glow Serum is an introduction to the benefits of using 3LAB.

Erica: Yes, that’s true.

Anita: Will you ever develop a lower price point skincare line?

Erica: I’ve been asked about that, but honestly I would be cheating the consumer. I am going to concentrate on 3LAB and continue developing skincare products that deliver healthy beautiful skin.

Anita: Erica, this was a pleasure and I’ve enjoyed our conversation. I learned a lot and can’t wait to get on my 3LAB regimen.
