8 Beauty Tips for a Prettier & Younger Looking You
Reading Parisian Chic by Ines de la Fressange only supported my theory about makeup.
Like everything in life, less is more – makeup is meant to enhance not detract from our physical features.
8 makeup tips for a natural prettier you
- Skip the heavy foundation – too much foundation looks fake and artificial. Use a tinted moisturizer with SPF, or a mineral foundation – beingTrue , Cargo Cosmetics, jane iredale.
- Use matte eyeshadows – Glittery, sparkly eyeshadows only enhance wrinkles iT Cosmetics, Senna Cosmetics, Youngblood Cosmetics.
- Get professional eyebrow grooming – Bushy eyebrows or too thin eyebrows look unpolished, and are aging.
- Use a translucent finishing powder – Only use for touch-ups, too much finishing powder takes on a caked look, also carry blotting papers to absorb excess oil.
- Never use brown blush – just like a man should not have a brown suit in his closet.
- Avoid a heavy, dark contoured lip line – it’s best to blend your lip liner and lipstick – also lip line after lipstick application for a softer pout.
- Don’t wear sparkly, shiny lipstick or gloss – especially in nude or orange. Lips look too sticky and not attractive.
- Skip the mascara on your lower lashes – wearing mascara on lower lashes only draws attention to those nasty dark circles.
It’s best to apply a touch of concealer to acne breakouts CoverFX, just like muffin top, nobody wants to see it – Cover Up!
And if you’re unsure make an appointment at your favorite makeup counter and receive a complimentary makeover with any two item purchase.
