Stepping into a French Twist – Cavalli Spring/Summer 2012
I’ve always wanted to create my own French twist and now thanks to Guido of Redken we are given the inside details to recreating a hair style that isn’t just for the fashion crowd.
Redken Creative Consultant Guido ended Milan Fashion Week yesterday with a glamorous French twist for the Spring/Summer 2012 Roberto Cavalli show.
This is a simple updo that’s very easy, soft and pretty. It perfectly offsets the clothing which is super fun, colorful and sexy. –Guido, Redken Creative Consultant
The Products used to create a simple and modern version of the classic French twist were:
-aerate 08 all-over bodifying cream mousse
-fashion work 12 versatile working spray
Creating the Look:
– Blow dry damp hair using aerate 08 all-over bodifying cream-mousse to create texture and body.
– Brush hair back away from the face, pull back into a French twist and pin in place, leaving some of the looser bits of hair falling out to make it seem effortless.
– Finish with a light spray of fashion work 12 versatile working spray.
And presto – a modernized version of a traditional hair style that looks great paired with fitted, more colorful clothing.
Happy Styling!
